[/u] area will be able to join (This will be closely moderated to be sure only those able to know of the bijuu‘s release ICly may join). From here, ‘The Sealing Challenge’ begins. This site is heavily based on the Bijuu, both wild and captured, and as such there will be many rules and details surrounding this basis to ensure things stayed balanced and fun. If you ever plan to encounter a Bijuu at all on this site, then you must follow and understand all of these rules.Bijuu Control
There will be NO form of Bijuu control allowed on this site. No exceptions. No bloodlines or jutsu will be allowed to control or manipulate the Bijuu in any way. If you register a technique that you loophole to allow you to control the Bijuu, the IC happenings will be entirely voided and punishment for trying to bend one of the major rules will likely follow.
Only a very select few people will be allowed to have techniques capable of sealing the Bijuu. This is to prevent every single person trying to take a Bijuu for themselves and having the means to do so. The village rulers will each have one, as well as any other extremely skilled shinobi that we deem capable and fair to have one.Bijuu Appearances
The Bijuu will appear randomly as site-wide events, and will be unattainable until that point. We will wait for a short while until the site seems active and populated enough for any particular area to properly deal with a Bijuu invasion before releasing the first one, and then will have them come out randomly once in a while. They will come out one at a time, and each time in a different area, giving all ninja of all areas fair and equal chance to get Bijuu, and hopefully keep the Jinchuuriki evenly spread around.
When a Bijuu will be revealing itself, it will be told of through a global announcement, letting everyone know when it has arrived. However, we will be very strict and keep a watchful eye on the event. If your character(s) are not in an area at the time a Bijuu invades(for example if your character is in a thread in Kiri when a Bijuu attacks Konoha), you will not be able to take part in the attack. If the same character is in multiple threads, this rule goes with whatever the most recent (via IC estimate time stated within the thread)thread is. If none of your threads give any information as to which happens before each one, the judgement is left to the staff.Jinchuuriki
In addition to the wild bijuu attacks, a tailed beast can appear if a jinchuuriki is killed. This will release the bijuu from the corpse in all its power. Killing a jinchuuriki will give a stat bonus that reflects the jinchuurikis rank, and ability, and the overall skill of the thread the kill was in. As stated, the bijuu will then be released, if an extraction technique wasn’t in place. (Extraction techniques wont be even less available to apply for than sealing techniques.)
When the bijuu escapes a jinchuuriki it will be returned to full form and strength, leaving whomever killed the bijuu at whatever state they were in after the battle. At set point a separate thread will be made, and only people in the immediate
Upon a character becoming a jinchuuriki, the player who owns the character needs to keep in mind that having such a massive power sealed into is exhausting, and will cause their character to be weaker in all forms for a period of time. These players should also keep in mind that their bijuu are new to their characters, and therefore they don’t have great control, or jutsu with them. As extra incentive to have bijuu placed in less experienced shinobi, genin and younger characters will be able to learn how to work with their bijuu more easily than older, and more experienced characters, who have lived their lives used to not having such power.
Sealing Bijuu
Every sealing technique will require a life to be sacrificed in order for it to work. This means that whoever has the sealing technique can sacrifice their own life to seal it in someone else, or can use the life of another to seal it. However, if the life of another is being used, they must agree to their character dying to seal the Bijuu fully and completely. This means you can't attempt to greedily steal the Bijuu and kill someone else in the process just because you have the sealing technique. You also may not use your character to make one of your other characters a jinchuuriki.
As further means to help ensure nobody tries to cheat the system, only characters who have portrayed a high degree of In Character work may be suitable subjects for the sacrifice in a sealing technique. This will prevent people from registering characters solely to act as a sacrifice. We will judge this availability on things that would allow one to rank up through In Character role play.
We know that not many people would want to make a character with a sealing technique and not have any chances at a Bijuu. For this reason we have implemented a system to make up for this as best as we could while still keeping it balanced and fair. If someone seals a Bijuu into a Genin, rather than a stronger and more powerful shinobi, he who did the sealing will receive a small bonus to their stats. In addition, whoever is the one to have their character be sacrificed to perform the sealing technique, will be allowed to register a new character starting out as the deceased characters rank (which will have had to be earned IC in the first place) plus any stat bonuses they would have had. The new character will also recieve a small stat bonus.
The Sealing Challenge
As further means of keeping it all balanced and ensuring it goes down properly without people stealing the Bijuu away from those who worked with it, and happenings of the sort, a special event will take place during the encounter. When a Bijuu appears, we will put up a temporary sub-board in the area where it is, which the global announcement will tell you where. In the sub-board, there will be four separate threads, each of which will be filled with people aiming to capture the Bijuu. Each thread will have a limit of nine people in total, though the character limit does not have to be maxed out. Once any of the threads reaches Page #2, then no other people will be able to enter the thread then those that are already involved.
There will be a limit of four people per team. During these encounters, we classify teams as people with different goals or intentions for the Bijuu. Say if a team consisting of four people wants the Bijuu for their village so the Kage can choose who gets it, while 4 more people from the village want to seal it in themselves for power, they would be two different teams, despite being from the same village. For a thread to be finished, ALL opposition must be dealt with, be it killing them, making them surrender, knocking them unconscious, whatever you prefer. ALL opposition means any opposing force for the entire encounter. This means that if Person A in Team 1 plans on turning his back on his team and taking the Bijuu for himself, he has to deal with the rest of his team in the very first thread. Any alliances at the end of the first four threads will remain concrete and the agreed purpose of the Bijuu will remain as it originally was.
Once all four threads are finished, we will make other thread(s) until all competition is thinned out enough. If only two people are able to continue fighting from each thread, for example, it will go to one single thread where all eight people will have to duke it out amongst each other. However, if 4 people from each thread can continue on, it will likely go onto two separate threads first, then the victors of those two will go onto the final one. It will be controlled like a tournament setting, though much like the real shinobi world, there will be no rules in the fighting.
If nobody with a sealing technique makes it to the end, or if the threads take far too long to resolve, the Bijuu will vanish, returning to its own dimension to attack again some other time. You can not seal the Bijuu quickly mid-fight, or anything of the sort. All distractions and enemies must be dealt with before you can seal the Bijuu. Again, at the very beginning, basic numbers will be limited-
Nine people per thread
Four people per team
Summoning techniques do not count toward the number limit. Be it animal summons, puppets, zombies, brethren, etc. If your ninja is capable of it, then it is considered a jutsu and a tool.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
