On this site, we have decided to employ a stat system. This is both in attempts to help make fighting more balanced and fair without so many issues about who is stronger, faster, etc. More importantly, is that providing additional points for growing stronger IC is more incentive for quality, story based role play. This is also required for incentive for people to do more plot helpful things when a Bijuu is captured.
General
Stamina - The amount of chakra one gets from their physical stamina alone. This also includes how long they can exert themselves before fatigue, and how long they can continue to fight even while after suffering much damage.
Spirit - The amount of chakra one gets from their spiritual energy alone. This also includes their level of chakra control, making other jutsu take less chakra overall.
Typically, those who specialize purely in taijutsu would have most of their points in Stamina, while those purely specializing in ninjutsu would have most of their points in Spirit. Though most shinobi would likely have a balance between the two.
Taijutsu
Strength - One's physical strength. Be it attacking, throwing, leaping, or anything else of the sort. The higher your strength, the more dangerous and damaging your physical strikes become.
Speed - One's physical movement speed. Running, dodging, even attacking.
Taijutsu Technique - The more points you have means you not only know more about the specific style, but can learn moves of that style more easily, and even have the potential to create original techniques within that style.
Ninjutsu
Jutsu Mastery - How good your character is with all jutsu that do not require an elemental nature. How strong or efficient all of these ninjutsu are.
Elemental Recomposition - How good your character is with all elemental jutsu. How strong or efficient all of these ninjutsu are.
Ninjutsu Technique - Increases the speed at which you perform hand seals, while also allowing you to know more about the basics of all ninjutsu, allowing you to create entirely new ninjutsu more easily. All extremely difficult or powerful jutsu will require many points in Technique to learn.
Genjutsu
Complexity - More points in this means the more complex your genjutsu can be. Little points would mean you could only do a single simple thing, like making an opponent see something. Many points would allow them to see something, have them binding, and suffer pain simultaneously, for example. This also makes it take more chakra for enemies to break your genjutsu, and lets you break genjutsu upon yourself for less chakra.
Efficiency - The more points in efficiency make it seem more realistic, becoming even harder to detect as an illusion. It also allows your genjutsu to be triggered in more ways, more easily. For example, if normally a genjutsu would require someone seeing you, more points could let the genjutsu activate just by seeing a part of you, and many more points would work just by them hearing your voice, for example.
Genjutsu Technique - This lets you detect genjutsu more easily, whether it is affecting yourself or a nearby ally. Also allows you to create new and original genjutsu techniques more easily.
Certain things will allow you to rank up and attain higher than average stats through role play. This includes killing enemies, healing allies(for those who play medics), completing missions, and much more. If you feel you have truly done enough to warrant being granted a higher rank, then you may post a thread requesting it, with links and summaries of all the threads that contain these things, and a staff will get to it soon as possible. Naturally, each higher one will not only be more rare, but will be more difficult than the last to obtain.
Village leaders will start out as Advanced ninja, earning them a base 40 extra points. Tenkyuu members will also be granted this level.
